Cazbar's new iLounge has its grand opening this weekend
I've always meant to review Cazbar (316 N. Charles St.) but never gotten around to it. Now I've got something new to write about:
In January, the Charles Street restaurant/lounge opened a new lounge on its second floor, according to the hostess who picked up the phone when I called today.
The lounge is (rather creatively) called the iLounge, and has its grand opening this weekend ...
The iLounge is open from 10 p.m.-2 a.m. Cover charge is $5 on Fridays and $10 on Saturdays. DJ UG spins on Fridays and DJ WHO spins on Saturdays. And, parking is complimentary, which is quite nice.
There is no cover charge for the iLounge if you make a reservation for bottle service. Bottles will run you anywhere from $70 to $200+, the hostess said.
Downstairs, you can smoke hookahs and enjoy belly dancers on Friday and Saturday nights. There is no cover charge downstairs.
(Sorry, but this is the best photo we had in our archive. Pictured is Cazbar's chef/owner Alec Kantar)

It -- or something like it -- was open about a month ago when I was there.

Mary, you're right -- the space was indeed open last month. As noted in the second paragraph, it's been open since January. The only reason I'm writing about it now is because the grand opening party is this weekend.

I read your blog when I was in Quebec. I bookmarked your site and read your post again when I reached CA after I purchased my new ed online computer. The site is excellent and looks the best in new!
