I've always said the more competition, the better, and I mean that. I do not want to be the only nightlife blogger in Baltimore. So let's all give a warm welcome to On the Town, Baltimore magazine's new nightlife blog.
Looks like On the Town is being written by Jess Blumberg and Amy Mulvihill. Amy and Jess, I'm looking forward to reading!
Erik Maza is a features reporter at the Baltimore Sun. He writes for several sections of the Sun paper and contributes weekly columns on music and nightlife. He also writes and edits the Midnight Sun blog. He often covers entertainment, business, and the business of entertainment. I second CJ's remark. I've always wanted to know what my favorite plastic surgeon was up to on his night off. As well as checking in on my laser eye doctor's favorite new hot spot in Greenspring Valley. Look forward to the glossy blog!!!

why should they? perhaps they are covering another niche that also includes nightlife (unless fleetwood mac plays daytime concerts now) just perhaps some people would like to go someplace other than a bar for nightlife......
