The Midnight Sun Shindig: 6 p.m. March 5 at the Brewer's Art

That's right ladies and gents, it's official.

We are all set for 6 p.m. (ish) on Thursday, March 5 at the Brewer's Art (1106 N. Charles St.).

This also happens to be the night of the City Paper's Cosmic Cocktail Party. But there's always going to be something else happening, and I have to pick a date. So I picked a date.

Plus, the CP's party costs $40, and my party is free! Take that, City Paper!

BAMPOWTHWAPSMACK! ...

See you at Brewer's, kids. Also, bar owners, I'm going to be sending out the Best of the Best of the Best awards the week beforehand. I expect to see you at the Shindig.

Oh, and Evan, if you pick the Dropkick Murphys over my Shindig, I'm never posting your comments again.

Sweet. What can I bring? A side? Dessert? Meat-flavored beverage?

How about bacon-flavored gin this time around?

Bacon flavored gin ... I think I just vomited a little in my mouth ...

Damnit I hate living in the county.

I *NEED* to try the Peppercorn Tripel on tap!!!!!

How many Losers are going to this Midnight shindig? 5,6,7? I bet half of you's will get drunk off of one beer! Sam can drink 3 beers,he is the champ!

bacon flavored gin, eh? i wouldn't say no, but it wouldn't be a resounding yes either.

Tim, you'll be amazed but for most people social get togethers are about something other than getting hammered. Are drink competitions all you do with your friends?

Sam, thanks for finalizing the details. I was wondering if Evan was going to bring homemade bacon-flavored alcohol, too. I'll be there, with camera in hand, to capture the reactions.

ow my arm!

...well the show was completely sold out a while ago so that certainly makes this a pretty easy choice.

Bacon vodka (v.2.0): check.

I'll also bring a super secret special vodka if it turns out the way I hope it will.

Did you say Free? As in Free Beer? As in Free Resurecction? As in Sam Sessa and the Sun are treating everyone to Free Ressurections and Ozzy's?

Im going to spread the word! Thanks Sam! What a guy!

You did say free right?

Yup, there it is! "my party is free! "
