Does anyone have any idea what's going on with the old Tim's Place in the 1100 block of Hull Street. I only went into Tim's place once...and it was definitely weird. Kinda like walking into some dude's living room that also had a bar.
Anyway, I thought that they were converting it into two townhouses, but driving by last night it's clear that it might be a bar or restaurant. It was the first time that I'd ever seen anyone working there late, but I couldn't stop because I had someplace to be.
Anyone know what's going on there?

Not psyched about this... I work next door (in an office, not at Larry Flynt's, haha), and working late nights is already super sketchy. Hmmm, maybe I AM psyched about this, because I have a legitimate reason not to sit at my desk until 9 or 10!!
They've also been advertising another Lake Trout location opening on this block, but it's been "Coming Soon" for over a year, and renovations are intermittent.

CantonKate, that Lake Trout spot is supposed to be the new home of the Roost, which closed a few years ago. If it hasn't opened yet, I doubt it will. And if it does miraculously open, I doubt it will be as good as the Roost.
