A pretty good deal at Mad River & Taps
From 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Fridays, Mad River Bar and Grille (1110 S. Charles St., pictured) runs a pretty sweet special: You pay $5 for a wristband which gets you $1 domestic drafts, house liquor and wine. You have to call Amanda, who works there, to get your name on the list for this special. Her number is 410-727-2333.
When it comes to South Baltimore happy hour specials, nothing beats the deal at Taps (1439 S. Charles St.). For $9, you get bottomless domestics and rail drinks from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Yowsa!

Taps is still open? That's surprising. I heard Taps is now catering breakfast at area gyms (free of charge of course).
They love to waste money over there. Glad to see their website is still pushing their New Years Eve party from last year.

Oh man...the Taps happy hour was on the down-low for awhile and recently became more popular. Now with this announcement, it will become even more crowded.
Normally the ghetto thug crowd doesn't show up until 9ish with the sucky DJ. Something tells me they will be arriving earlier.
I am going to have to find a new bar.
