Do you miss Whatchadointhisweekend?

I've kind of grown weary with Whatchadointhisweekend? and Whatchadothisweekend?.

I feel like they had their time, and that time has come and gone. Do you agree? And if so, is there anything you'd like to see in their place?

I'll spend my weekend thinking about it and I'll let you know how it went on Monday.

Hmmm, I don't see a problem continuing with it, although maybe a name change will freshen it up. You don't have to contribute much of anything besides typing "Watchadointhisweekend". There have been at least two occasions that I read a comment on someone's plans for the weekend that piqued my interest and led me to a fun evening. Same with comments on the flip side piquing my interest in a bar or two to check out the following weekend.

I think you should start a "Whatcha See this Weekend?" Bands, Movies, Random Sights, Strange Happenings, etc.
You could even do some of those "I think I just saw the man/woman/cat I want to spend the rest of my life with..." type things, ala Craigslist's "Missed Connections". :)

Not having that kind of information has really curtailed my stalking nights.

What am i doing this weekend? I think Im going to see if i can get alcohol poisining! I am going to attempt to drink 50 shots in 30 minutes of 80 proof Old Crow! I aint been in an ambulance in a while, its always a fun experience!

Sadly, that was Tim Lumbers last post.

I kinda miss it. On the off chance I had nothing to do, it was kinda cool to get ideas from everybody else.

Allan i actually survived! I didnt get alchohol poisining! I guess I'm becoming a pro!

About Sam Sessa
I've been The Baltimore Sun's nightlife and local entertainment reporter for a couple years, and it's surprising how much the scene has grown in that time. Most of Baltimore's bars and clubs are unpretentious places with fairly cheap drinks and plenty of character. I like dancing and think this city needs more clubs, but nothing beats having a cold, locally brewed beer with friends in a comfortably full corner bar.
