Whatchadothisweekend?

Duuuuude.

Not only is it Monday, but I had to get up extra early. Today I just might set a personal record for most stuff written in one day. Actually, I kind of have to -- otherwise Commander Meredith will have my head.

In a couple hours, I'm supposed to interview comedian Carlos Mencia (the host of Mind of Mencia on Comedy Central). Anything you want me to ask him? Oh, and what did you do this weekend? We had an interesting time at the Abbey Burger Bistro. I'll tell you more about it later today.

yeah, ask him what it's like to be a professional d-bag, and joke thief. he's the worst thing to happen to comedy, since Larry the Cable Guy.

Well, if it didn't have to be a productive interview, I'd ask him how he's doing after the onslaught of plagiarism accusations.

I didn't know he still had a career!

Friday: Caught Zomes at the Talking Head.

Saturday: Went to a house show in Chevy Chase for electronic noise show and then off to the Talking Head for Heroin UK, Moscow Telephone and Bad Liquor Pond.

Friday- went to the Capitals game in DC.

Saturday- went to the Dizz, where I slid all over the dining room floor in my boots and nearly brought down a table I held onto to keep myself from falling. Oh, yeah, and I was on a date, so that was slightly embarassing. It must not have been too embarassing as we left the Dizz and moved on to Magooby's Joke Box in Parkville and saw Shawn Savoy, Eric Meyers and Mark Unger, all of whom were really funny.

Sunday- went to SPCA and then to previous night's date's house to watch Ravens lose badly.

Can't wait to hear about your experience at Abbey Burger Bistro. I went yesterday and had possibly one of the most delicious burgers of my life.
