What a joke.
Gutter is a wannabe zine that never has and never will have any readership unless they supplement good photos with good opinions, articles and interviews.
Gutter is what you get when one's ego grows and decides to branch out. Just because you take good photos doesn't mean there is a brain in that skull of yours.

OneWhoKnows,
so does that mean that you won't be subscribing?

as to the brain section of your enthusiastic comment, I have a date with the Wizard on Thursday. He's hoping to resolve the brain issue. I'll keep midnight sun posted.

@ onewhoknows.
wow. you got some serious issues. I've been following Gutter since the beginning. while I'm not down with everything that's in it, it's a much better alternative than the other offerings in this town. How many times can you read about "best doctors?" the same restaurants, gardens and AP press releases.
Having worked in NY and Europe, that site is closer to what's really out there. Your post comes off as pretty provincial, like the rest of the local "magazines." Just to let you know. At least someone in Harm City has the brains to try something different.
If I want intelligent articles, I'll read the Economist.

OneWhoKnows,
"Just because you take good photos doesn't mean there is a brain in that skull of yours"
If he didn't have a "brain", he would take quality photos.
If you want to make the argument, he isn't good at every aspect of maintaining a blog and website, your on stronger ground, if you present some examples, otherwise it's strictly unfounded negativism.
The ball is bouncing in your court, pal, if you don't want to come off as a guttersnipe.

umm....thanks GDA. This sounded personal and the line for the JMG-haters starts at the back. I think we're getting on firmer ground blog wise our visitor count is way up.

JMG,
Nice blog. I love that LED watch. Is that a prototype, or is it already on the market?

J.M. Giordano,
Carelessness prevailed,
the line "If he didn't have a "brain", he would take quality photos."
Should have been,
"If he didn't have a "brain", he WOULDN'T take quality photos."
Mea Culpa
