Vote and get a free beer

todd conner'sNext week, Todd Conner's (700 S. Broadway) is rewarding voters with one free beer or soda.

If you show up after voting next Tuesday and can prove you cast your ballot (usually they give you a sticker or something), you get a free glass of suds or soft drink.

I like this idea. Wonder if anybody else around town is running the same kind of special. Anybody know?

hey sam,

could you do a blog entry about any evens going on at bars/restaurants on election night?

thanks!

Hey Sam, How about if you vote and take a cab/ or walk to No Idea or Don't Know, that way we can solve two problems at once!

The liquor board gets mad if anything is for FREE. So we will do 2 for 1 for your first round.

Hi Sam -

The Pickled Parrot is buying the second round for anyone who votes, and we are doing shooter giveaways all night during the coverage.

Oh yeah - there's plenty of free, non-permitted parking on Boston Street- one block away... (Sorry, Jason, couldn't resist...)

I might be joinging Gerry on Tuesday night since I can't even find permit parking for myself!

Sam,

Don't Know Tavern has 1/2 off lunch today if you tell the bartender you voted.

About Sam Sessa
I've been The Baltimore Sun's nightlife and local entertainment reporter for a couple years, and it's surprising how much the scene has grown in that time. Most of Baltimore's bars and clubs are unpretentious places with fairly cheap drinks and plenty of character. I like dancing and think this city needs more clubs, but nothing beats having a cold, locally brewed beer with friends in a comfortably full corner bar.
