tomorrow is my birthday, i'll be turning the grand young age of 25, so tonight i'll be at the Charred Rib in Timonium, sharing drinks with friends, butchering classic songs since tonight is karaoke night.
Sat. I'd really like to get to Comic-Con, as there's a TPB of the Irredeemable Ant-Man on my bookcase that Kirkman needs to sign.
Sunday will be a late lunch with the folks around town somewhere.

We're playing a show at Joe Squared Saturday night w/Oxter. Hopefully it'll be better than last weekend's show at Fletchers where we got shut down and they kicked everyone out of the place.
Anyone going to Comicon, be sure to stop by the Visionary Comics booth! They're doing a comic featuring DMFS!
Sam, hope the benefit for your friend goes well!

Does anyone know where to find the line-up for the Street Beat festival? I checked Sam's link but didn't see anything about who was playing.

Anyone have good recommendations on bars with ESPN Game Plan? (or maybe most do, and i'm just clueless...) Trying to watch Maryland stomp Clemson tomorrow (positive thinking), and it's not on regular cable. :(

work work work and then Im going to check out the "Street Beat" fest on Sunday so I can see my BF's band (Stones Throw) play. I also wanna check out The Oranges Band and shake my "Booty Fresh" booty to Landis and the boys. I think Street Beat is a silly name for a festival but I'll be there.

Hey Kate,
Not sure if it is on on not, but No Idea, Taps, and Don't Know has the ESPN Game Plan. I also think Magerk's has it as well. Not sure of to many other places that have it, unfortunately, probably Ryleighs and/ or Mother's and maybe even Mad River, but defintitely NI and DK.

Have you been to the new Teavolve on Aliceanna Street in Harbor East? Well, this Friday would be an excellent time to check out their new digs. Mic Life Magazine is hosting an Acoustic Soul and Spoken Word night called First Fridays Nappy Hour: The All Natural Happy Hour, from 6pm-10pm. Teavolve has over 200 types of Herbal Teas, an ultra lounge feel, great paninis, and a concoction of "mar-tea-nis" that are as interesting as they are delicious. No cover, live entertainment, and a great looking place. Check it out.
