Obama vs. McCain: Who would you rather drink with?

obamaThis is an important question, methinks. America loves a good all-night throw down.

And all politics aside, I personally think presidential hopeful John McCain would be more fun to close out a corner bar with.

But Roommate Patchen brings up a couple interesting points when it comes to Barack Obama:

McCain would be more fun one-on-one in a bar crawl.

But Obama would get me into much better clubs (ones that had real dancing instead of square dancing) and would make sure the ladies paid equal attention to me.  After all, Obama was the one who called a journalist to apologize for ruining his game in front of a cute intern.  Obama looks out for his bros, and would make good if he botched it.

McCain, on the other hand, would be the type to play practical jokes with your drink while you were in the bathroom.

McCain seems like a whiskey/wild turkey guy. Obama.. not so much.

Point - McCain.

I'm gonna throw my vote away and pick a 3rd party candidate: Bob Barr.

Dude knows how to party:

"As a Republican candidate for the House in 1994, he rose to national attention when reports alleged that he had licked whipped cream off the breasts of two women at a charity event."

That's my kind of president.

third choice - none of the above

I like BA's family-friendly post above.

I was going to say Obama, but I have a feeling he could be absolutely smashed and still have the ability to give a rousing speech. Yaaaaaawn.

Ralph Nader?

have a drink with Obama, ha!
the fawning liberal press would be at least three people deep in every direction hanging on to every memorized word.

Ralph Nader spoke at my graduation. A rotten speaker without a prepared speech.

Also he doesn't seem to be the kind of guy to drink, much less hit a bar.

McCain if he promises to bring Palin.

mc cain might be a good choice, i'll bet his liver is about the same age as me.

I like war stories. Point, McCain.

Wildcard, I'd rather drink with Bob Barr.

I nominate Ross Perot. "Can I finish? Can I finish? Can I finish?"

Obamaof course. I can get smashed and then he can give me a bump and then I can drink some more!

McCain is on the record as liking Stoli on the rocks Obama said he likes beer at baseball games, but I figure him for something more elitist, like a Pimms and soda.

Sounds like over the course of conversation, He may have conflicting views on the same topic.

I posted elsewhere but here is a better spot.
