Inside Luckie's Tavern

luckie's tavernForgot to blog about the opening of Luckie's Tavern in Power Plant Live last week.

Fortunately, a Metromix photographer was there capture all the action.

The link is to a photo gallery -- not an actual review. So I'm not really sure how they felt about the place. But they did say that a Stella draft was $5.75. Ouch.

From this photo, the new space looks nothing like its predecessor, the Lodge Bar.

At least they still have live music inside.

6 dollars for a beer? What is this place, Candem Yards?

Bring back Baha! At least they had quarter bottles.

BSSC had a pre-opening Happy Hour there last Thurs for the wiffleball league. Luckie's did good. Free drafts & a nice free buffet (sliders, mini crab cakes, & calamari) from 7-9pm. The staff just kept bringing more beer! Could be because we were the only ones tipping? It was a $1 cover to get in. 1st BSSC happy hour that I didn't have to drink out of a plastic cup!

BSSC people tip, that's news too all the canton bartenders..

This one does.
