Whatchagonnadothisweekend?

Ask and ye shall receive. Let's see if this mini-feature has legs.

Share your weekend plans with Midnight Sun. Maybe -- just maybe -- you guys might discover you're going to the same thing. And just like that, a new friendship is born.

"Midnight Sun: Where the movers and shakers meet."

(I know, I know, I should have gone into advertising.)

Hitting up Bay Cafe for Happy hour and then on to the square for a long night.

Saturday, riding my lawn of evil crabgrass and weeds.

I for one have taken today off and am traveling to southern MD to watch the end of a boat race and drink the cheapest alcohol imaginable, also probably go sailing. Gonna be a tremendous weekend!

I'm going to sit by the pool and listen to Sirius and drink beer and do nothing else all weekend unless my wife changes my mind for me.

who's going to be in Ocean City this weekend???

Going to see Will Hill at Horse You Came In On tonight (Friday).

Saturday??? Give me some ideas MS'ers!

the girlfriends parents are in town tonight, so we'll score a free fancy pants dinner for that.

sat. looks like finally getting around to seeing Batman, possibly at the Senator in the afternoon, and then a b-day party at Damon's in Hunt Valley come round the PM time.

Hitting up the Baltimore Improv Festival!

addendum: i'll also be buying this, an alarm clock that wakes you up to the smell of bacon.

Girlfriend out of town, so I will drink beer and watch Jean Claude Van Damme movies. And I won't be showering.

Ladies...

We're headin' downee ocean! I haven't been to Ocean City in about 3 years, and even then for just a day trip to Seacrets. The Delaware beaches have hogged me, now I must share myself with the Maryland shore. Plan to have a Pain in de [butt] in my hand by 5:00 p.m. today.

dead symphony at the meyerhoff tonight, the roots playing at merriweather tomorrow, recuperate on sunday

Tonight, happy hour at fins (if nobody knows it's 2 for 1 everything). Then bounce around the square.Tommorow and sunday drink all day and find out where the night takes me.

It worked! Trouble, you're a genius.

I think I might hit First Friday at the Can Company Tonight. Saturday night I am going to the see BSO at Pier Six perform some Led Zeppelin.

I sense a refreshed tone in your voice, Sessa. Good to have you back.

Oh, and almost forgot Sunday: FOOTBALL IS BACK PEOPLE!

Love or hate the Skins, it's football.

Going to Friends for lots of booze, dim lighting and the best jukebox (other than Club Charles) in Baltimore....

will hill rocks and i've always wanted to take a picture of w hill st in otterbein and send it to him via myspace, but i never have my camera when i go by. (and i haven't signed into myspace in about a year and a half) if you go see him ask him about the towson bateman's wing contest. i still cannot eat wings after that night.

i'll be watching velveeta on cross st. tonight, and boating it tomorrow.

Still up in the air as far as Saturday night: either Thank You at Sonar or Jabali Africa at the Wind-Up Space.

I'm off my month suspension so its back to working Saturday nights.

Ahhh. Sunday at the pool. Going to see the Black Crowes if the BF can get an extra tix.

Monday= Pool. Margarita's. In the evening I'm going to hit up a restaurant for Restaurant week.
Any suggestions from any other MS followers?

Colleen, if you haven't yet, check out Corks. If you have, you probably love it. Get in there now, before they shut down for the remodel next week.

About Sam Sessa
I've been The Baltimore Sun's nightlife and local entertainment reporter for a couple years, and it's surprising how much the scene has grown in that time. Most of Baltimore's bars and clubs are unpretentious places with fairly cheap drinks and plenty of character. I like dancing and think this city needs more clubs, but nothing beats having a cold, locally brewed beer with friends in a comfortably full corner bar.
