Dubai ruminations
Dubai, the sister club to Palma, opened this past Saturday (Aug. 2). Sorry -- I forgot to blog about the opening.
But as of yet, it doesn't look like you're missing much.
As you can see from this Metromix photo, the new owners haven't changed much -- at least on the outside.
The Xs are still there from when it was Club X Ultra Lounge and Xanadu. They did change the digital sign to read Dubai.
There are a couple display cases but no posters inside. They're just blank.
And ya gotta love the white party tent set up in front of the door. Looks like it belongs in your backyard on the 4th of July. Come get some hamburgers, kids!

Dubai...with a name like that I'm expecting $30 cocktails, to wash down $75 burgers, all served on man-made islands in a pool of crude oil.
