Details on the soiree

Here's the skinny for the first Midnight Sun soiree:

7 p.m. Thursday Aug. 28
Idle Hour
201 E. Fort Ave.

Roll call!

How many of you are cool with this?

It's one of my favorite bars, and it's neutral ground.

The last time I was there I told Randall (one of the owners) I was interested in bringing a few friends on Aug. 28 and he was cool with it.

Now, I understand not all of you can make this one. Heck, I'd be happy if 10 people showed up.

For those of you who can't come, don't worry -- we'll do another one 4-6 months from now.

If this one goes smoothly, maybe even sooner.

I may be out of state for a conference, but if not, I will swing by.

Sam, any specials that night?

If I'm around that night I'll try to stop by.

i'm in

Jason, did you get the message I left for you last nite? Amie and I had dinner at Don't Know, and I wrote "Tell Jason I said hi" on the credit card receipt.

Nice sliders, by the way.

down like a clown frown

This is for that lifetime ban at FuL isn't it?

Can't make it. Weekdays no good.

Count me in.

I'm not a frequent poster, but since it isn't far from my house and your character rings true, I might stop by. Do we need to dress up like a hipster or meathead to get in? Or is plain dress, i.e. striped golf shirt as you model in your photo, okay?

I disagree with this choice of day.

This makes me sad I will not get to meet you prolific comment-writing Midnight Sunners!

I'll be there as long as there's no fed hill meatheads!!!!

Gonna try to make this... Idle Hour has great ice and glasswear. Much better than Don't Know's

i'm in. do they have real absinth there now or just the chartreuse?

Going to be in KC that night. Enjoy Sam!

lets see: no kids. Don't work in a cubicle job to keep up my big house in the county. Am not a traveling sales man. No conferences to attend.
Sure. Looks like I'm open.
Just hope that Cheese attends! Drink on me dude(ette)

Count the Morning Show Producer In!

i could deff. stop by for a few drinks.

I will drop off some food and do a little catering for the shin ding. I will send the bill to Groove Commerce.

Pre Season Patio. Can't make it. Drat.
:(

Forgot about that game... Now I cant come either...

E

I have a hair appointment at 6:30 (yes, seriously) but would like to stop by after, assuming Midnight Sunning still in effect.

I wish I could go. I will be at Burning Man.

i have a wedding shower earlier that day, so i'll most def will need a drink! count me in!!

I will be on vaca then but would consider attending a future such-event

I love reading this blog and would love to attend the event, but Thursdays are no good for me. I hope you get a good turnout!

Alright, I'm totally in. Are we doing a themed dress code? I don't want to risk being turned away at the door for wearing the wrong shoes...

see you at burning man hippie. I'll def stop by Sessa!
