I've been The Baltimore Sun's nightlife and local entertainment reporter for a couple years, and it's surprising how much the scene has grown in that time. Most of Baltimore's bars and clubs are unpretentious places with fairly cheap drinks and plenty of character. I like dancing and think this city needs more clubs, but nothing beats having a cold, locally brewed beer with friends in a comfortably full corner bar.

actually bear with me. I would argue that the least amount with bad votes should get the books...because if you got the most votes...that actually meant people went there. I bet 3/4's of the city doesn't even know owl bar exists.
marketing 101.
rant...over.

Lagers deserves all the bad press it can get. That place is horrible. Not sure how it stays in business when always empty. Bartenders are tools and rude..great way to run a neighborhood bar.

ryan97ou,
Maybe the votes should be limited to places where people only went to once, which proved to be once too many.
You can't have an authentic or personal opinion if you never went there.
