i love that in the ad it says, "Montreal, despite being in Canada, is a real city"

Sorry to be off topic, but did anyone notice that Bo BICE will be at Seacrets this weekend? and no Midnight Sun reference?

Oh snap! That one slipped by me ... load cannon!

I would be highly, highly interested in participating in something like this. But what would the destination be? (I say Savannah)
Posted by: Evan | July 11, 2008 2:24 PM
it really is a pretty cool idea, and would be an interesting chance of pace in terms of a quick weekend vacation. registration fee aside, that would be like what, 300-400 dollars for the whole trip?
Posted by: Allan | July 11, 2008 3:19 PM
per team, methinks, if that. so if you get a car of 4-5 ppl that'd be a pretty effing cheap trip.
.........................i think i'm going to start doing some online research into how much this would actually cost.
Posted by: Evan | July 11, 2008 3:54 PM
ahhh, all those extra people might be able to pay money, but would be dead weight if you're in it to win it.
Posted by: Allan | July 11, 2008 4:22 PM
5 people in a car for twelve hour trip sounds like too much togetherness, even if you're more than friends.
Posted by: karlosi | July 13, 2008 12:10 AM
i was talking it over with the gf (who was pretty excited by the idea) and we thought 3 per car would be a pretty cheap way to do it.
Posted by: Allan | July 14, 2008 8:53 AM
yeah I was just perusing some of the listings on Thrifty rentacar and it's pretty cheap - like 182 bucks per week with 1000 miles free (plus 10% off if you use an AmEx card). for a 2 to 3-day trip it would conceivably be dirt cheap.
Posted by: Evan | July 14, 2008 7:53 PM
thats not a bad deal at all. how would we coordinate start points though? i'm thinking everyone start at one predetermined place? like in the parking lot of someplace big and well known.
Posted by: Allan | July 15, 2008 9:44 AM
yah, any park n' ride would do, synchronize watches, that sort of thing.
LET'S DO THIS
