Jenna Bush sighting(s)
MS reader Bill came through with the first Jenna Bush sighting.
Check it out ...
Just had my first Jenna Bush run-in on Wednesday at Mother’s. She came in with a small entourage, and hung out for a while. She seemed down to earth, didn’t get a chance to talk to her, but was trying to pick out the SS in her group. She smokes too.
There is also a rumor going around that Bush was turned away from No Way Jose (38 E. Cross St.) for not having her ID on her. But I haven't been able to confirm it.
I've been The Baltimore Sun's nightlife and local entertainment reporter for a couple years, and it's surprising how much the scene has grown in that time. Most of Baltimore's bars and clubs are unpretentious places with fairly cheap drinks and plenty of character. I like dancing and think this city needs more clubs, but nothing beats having a cold, locally brewed beer with friends in a comfortably full corner bar.

I've seen her husband getting his mail a few times, I've seen her watering plants. My other buddy got something of a 'howdy neighbor' out of her while walking by their house. Seems nice enough.

Ridiculous, the attention being given to a person who's only claim to fame is the family legacy, not anything she has yet done herself beyond being born.
She may be a wonderful person but is not deserving of this attention intruding into her life.

As for the No Way Jose rumor, that is true. I was there, but they did serve her after reckoning who it was.

frankly, i think she's up to something. i love this city just as much as the rest of you, but baltimore? really? the president's daughter?
i'm not sure what it is that she's up to, but maybe it's a weather machine, or a giant disk to block out the sun. i'll keep you all posted.

I was outta town for this MS post...but I was the bartender who waited on JB at Mother's. I didn't realize it until her husband paid the tab and I recognized his name. They like to drink. And they kept calling me ma'am.

GDA- no saluting, just alot of drinking. They tipped ok. Nothing crazy. And what am I? Well that's a loaded question that my friends would love to answer....however I am a just a bartender at Mother's who maintains their myspace page. I posted the page as a 25 year old male because that's the average age of our male customers. I wonder if Jenna Bush has a myspace page?
