DJ K-Swift is dead

Baltimore's Club Queen is dead.

K-Swift, whose real name was Khia Edgerton, died this past weekend at 29.

According to a source on Government Names, she apparently died at Good Samaritan Hospital due to head wounds sustained from a swimming pool accident. But an autopsy is pending.

RIP Swift. You will be missed.

I was shocked and saddened to learn of K-Swift's death, knowing that it never should have happened. The police had been called several times by several different people in our neighborhood that evening to report her pool party as being too loud (it could be heard clearly several BLOCKS away) including a call to 311 at 10:13 pm that reported the exact address of the party. This was a repeated violation of the noise laws, and not the first time that she had thrown a party that was too loud, too late at night. If the police had simply done their job and broken up the party, she would still be alive today. How sad that the failure of the Baltimore city police has lead to yet another unneeded death.

I MISS YOU SWIFT CAUSE YOU WAS LIKE MY SUN MY STARS AND MY ROLE MODEL I WILL SEE YOU SOON KEEP DANCIN UP IN HEAVIN SHOW MY SIS SOME OF YOUR DANCES TOO
