4th of July in the Sky

Of all the 4th of July celebrations going on around town, this one really stuck out.

It's called the 4th of July in the Sky, and it's sponsored by Lindy Promotions, 98Rock and Miller Lite.

For $50, you get to party on the roof of the Maryland Science Center, complete with open bar, a picnic buffet (potato salad, burgers, hot dogs, etc.), DJ Jason Cruz and dancing.

The party runs 7 p.m.-11 p.m.

Not bad. Not bad at all. You can get tickets here.

according to the site it's $60, but it's still a pretty awesome deal!

FYI ... if you subscribe to goldstar.com then you could have gotten in for a mere $30. Its an awesome site that sells half price tickets to everything from concerts to ball games including Club Level seats to the Os ... but damn was Sunday's game depressing, Jill almost got us kicked out screaming. It was close until the 7th and then a total disaster ...

About Sam Sessa
I've been The Baltimore Sun's nightlife and local entertainment reporter for a couple years, and it's surprising how much the scene has grown in that time. Most of Baltimore's bars and clubs are unpretentious places with fairly cheap drinks and plenty of character. I like dancing and think this city needs more clubs, but nothing beats having a cold, locally brewed beer with friends in a comfortably full corner bar.
