Is it possible to overdose on music?
After sitting through something like 30 bands in three days at the Non-Commvention in Philly, it's a good question.
That's where I was for most of my weekend. Got back Saturday evening and spent Sunday morning walking around/shopping at the farmer's market and at Fells Point.
What were you guys up to this past weekend?
Fill me in.
Also, did anybody check out the newly renovated Gin Mill?

Friday night - Polish Festival at Patterson Park. Good beer, good food, good music to drink beer and eat food to.
Saturday -- Wedding up in NJ. Open bar, enough said.
Sunday -- back in time for a doubleheader of BSSC football which was great. Awesome weather and who doesn't like to have a drink while chillaxin in a park.
Monday - catching up on last weeks MS postings and maybe some work...maybe

Friday - Dinner outside at Cinghale (highly rec'd the cheap panini's), then Owl bar to watch the O's blow their game in extra innings. Then Brewers for some rezzies.
Saturday: Attempted 18 holes at Clifton park...made it through 9 before i was caught in huge rain storm. I was soaked. Plan B: locust point for a friend's BBQ. After that Don't Know for the Os game/Stanley cup, then to The new bar at mothers...that place is massive.
Sunday: Went to the O's game, where we continued to look baaad. Sabatino's carry out....mmm...bookmaker.

Fri eve: Burgers & Bohs at Hefter's cookout to properly welcome Reed KD & the Armchair Aviators from Santa Cruz. Walked up to Golden West to hear them play, along with Caleb Stine and the Breakmen & Steve Hefter and Friends of Friends.
Sat eve: Drove up to Harrisburg to see Mike Doughty & his bassist "Scrap" Livingston do a free show in a brewery. Doughty did an electronic music DJ set afterwards. Awesomeness!
Sun: Relaxed at home.

Friday: Went to see Compression, Avec, Monger and Deep Cuts at the Ottobar (harddrive on my recorder crapped out after Monger, so I missed Avec and Compression...bummer!).
Saturday: MT6 Showcase at The Depot with Krestovsky, Chief Pokawa, The Agrarians, Rosemary Krust, and Pat Grant & The Blown Fuses.

Friday: refreshed my Midnight Sun page looking for an entry on the Dundalk Bar tour.
Sat: After going to Lith Hall and seeing that the yuppies and frateral hillies that read the Urbanite's Lith Hall write up were gone for good (thank god), refreshed again
Sun: refreshed.
mon: fed up, left snarky comment about people "commenting" err....plugging their favorite bars.

Went to OC Friday night for friend's birthday weekend. Bed early that night to wake up at 6 AM and go sky-diving. That got postponed because of high winds, so went to Tequila Mockingbird for lunch and margaritas. Then boardwalk people watching and random bars. Back to condo during storms to play card game. Out to Kirby's for more drinks and trivia. Sunday, hung over sky-diving, the beach, then home.
