Live Fools and Horses video

So our first Baltimore Unsigned taping in front of a live audience (at The 8x10 on Memorial Day afternoon) was a smashing success.

Didn't run into bouncer and MS commenter Bowling Ben though. Not sure what that kid is up to lately.

Are you still there Ben? We're worried about you buddy.

Here's a video from it, of Fools and Horses doing their nbew song "Anna Was the Enemy."

Aww, shucks!

I'm still (somewhat) around. I got me a new job, so I'm not in front of a computer all day long. But I still snoop around here a few times a week.

I do still moonlight at the 8x10 though, but I was never a bouncer there. Box office...that's my game.

Speaking of box office, I ran the front gate at Starscape a few weeks back. While perusing my guest list, I saw your name, Mr Sessa, with a plus one. I was jazzed to finally meet the man (the myth, the legend) but alas...you did not show. If I recall, you and the lady-friend jetted off to the beach, leaving lil ole me all alone at the box office, Sans-Sessa! (Isn't that a font?)

One more thing...I was never a fan of the "Bowling" moniker, but I guess it's here to stay. One botched date, and I get stuck with a lame nick name! I think that MS should set me up on a blind date with one of it's faithful readers. The evening can be reported on, and a new nick-name can be created for me! What do you think? Am I really in search of a new handle, or am I just that desperate for a date? Haha!

-Ben

Ah, Bowling Ben...that's not a lame nickname. It is awesome. Own it, buddy, own it.

Sessa, I think we should have a Midnight Sun contest and the winner gets to be in your party. Congrats, SS. :)

Hey man, your Baltimore Unsigned link is broken!

Goodness! Thanks for the heads up, Kate. Consider it fixed.

About Sam Sessa
I've been The Baltimore Sun's nightlife and local entertainment reporter for a couple years, and it's surprising how much the scene has grown in that time. Most of Baltimore's bars and clubs are unpretentious places with fairly cheap drinks and plenty of character. I like dancing and think this city needs more clubs, but nothing beats having a cold, locally brewed beer with friends in a comfortably full corner bar.
