The all new Upper Deck

Has anyone been to the upstairs bar at the Upper Deck (34 S. Eutaw St.) recently?

I heard it was renovated but haven't been there in a year or two.

About a year or two ago, I used to walk by there a fair amount, and there were always at least one or two homeless people lounging on the sidewalk outside.

You'd practically trip over them to get into the place. I hope that's changed since then.

Sadly, that has not changed. I recently moved out of a building around the corner, and used to visit the sub shop below every now and then -usually around 3am. I only went to the bar upstairs once, and only got as close as the bouncer because they were charging a $10 cover, and that's a deal breaker for me in this town. It was pretty lively, though. I would hear people coming out around 1 or 2 from Wednesday through Saturday.
