The next Fab Five Friday

Last week's warm weather FFF got me thinking about mojitos.

I wrote about mojitos once before on MS, but I've never ranked them.

They're minty. They're sweet. They're cold. They're a treat.

It's time for FFF: Mojitos.

Who do you think has Baltimore's best mojito?

Club One. Indubitably.

Though preferably not on lesbian night.

Far and away Little Havana's. No contest.

The ones I make at my pad!

Definitely Little Havana. They actually take some time to muddle the mint, lime and sugar.

Mama's on the Half Shell, Canton Square. It's amazing what a difference competent bartenders make!

Adam at Dionysus makes a killer Mojito.

reminds me of a good family guy quote

Brian: I didn't know there was going to be an open bar. And the guy really knew his stuff! He made me a mojito. I don't think it's a gay drink. Mo-ji-to...

roy's in harbor east makes a good pomegranate mojito.

I had dinner at Baltimore Pho last Saturday and the lychee mojito was great! So were the next three I had.....

Babulu's are delicious.
And Lemongrass has a variety of flavored mojitos on the menu, but last time I ordered one (lemongrass-flavored, of course) they seemed to have left out the sugar.

About Sam Sessa
I've been The Baltimore Sun's nightlife and local entertainment reporter for a couple years, and it's surprising how much the scene has grown in that time. Most of Baltimore's bars and clubs are unpretentious places with fairly cheap drinks and plenty of character. I like dancing and think this city needs more clubs, but nothing beats having a cold, locally brewed beer with friends in a comfortably full corner bar.
