Re: Free makes everything better

Consider it Midnight Sun's official slogan.

I Googled "Free Makes Everything Better" and MS was the first site that popped up.

You know what that means?

It's mine.

The only downside: The acronym FMEB is hard to pronounce.

Still, I'd like to have T-Shirts made.

Or better yet -- business cards with the slogan on them, kinda like what Neal Shaffer is doing.

Instead of paying my bar tab, I could just leave one of the cards with the bill.

Free Makes Everything Better.

Hey bartender: You've been FMEBed!

Thoughts?

With some of the bartenders in Baltimore, I doubt think they would take to kindly to the card.

ha. while i agree with the theory, making it a tag line might be a bit of a reach.

but if you get a bar to have a "free friday" or something i will be forced to bow down to your greatness.

The best things in life are free
But you can keep 'em for the birds and bees;
Now give me money,
that's what I want,...Yeah!

GDA! I was wondering where you've been ... I'm getting ready to name check you in a post later today.

Also, ryan, don't think I don't have the power to do that. I just choose not to use it in the name of ethics.

About Sam Sessa
I've been The Baltimore Sun's nightlife and local entertainment reporter for a couple years, and it's surprising how much the scene has grown in that time. Most of Baltimore's bars and clubs are unpretentious places with fairly cheap drinks and plenty of character. I like dancing and think this city needs more clubs, but nothing beats having a cold, locally brewed beer with friends in a comfortably full corner bar.
