I work a few doors down from Flipside and was excited to see a summer apparel shop replace the Vineyard. I however lost my excitement when the flops I liked cost $50. Plastic thongs. No thanks. Old Navy has the same thing for under $10.

$50!. Yikes! Yeah, I can't see myself spending $50 on flip flops.

$50 is deff. waaay too much. However, I once paid $30 for a pair of sandals/flip flops (i don't know the difference) that were lined with astroturf. or whatever it is that they put on mini golf courses.
$30 well spent.

I must be crazy then... Cause I just spent $60 for the most amazing pair of thongs... Olukai.com. High arch support and very comfortable. I wore flip flops nearly every day last summer and it wrecked my feet

I went in their the other day. It was very nice, great employees, hopefully they get a little bit more of a selection but the summer is just starting. I bought some kind of $22 t-shirt. I think they will do well. God knows how much I have spent to get into a pair of thongs, $50 sounds like a deal!
