International Day of Awesomeness

It's today, you know.

International Day of Awesomeness (IDA) is also Chuck Norris' birthday -- and for good reason.

No one is more awesome than Norris.

Not even Ed Norris.

By the way, can you believe Chuck Norris is almost 70? He certainly doesn't look it.

Probably because, while most people receive injections of Botox as they age, he drains the vital essence out of Muppets and drinks it, a la The Dark Crystal

You can celebrate IDA by performing a random act of awesomeness -- alone or with friends.

I'm going to peel out for exactly 33 seconds in my car, then head back to 1955 for a malt milkshake.

(I have a straw that reaches across the room).

What will you do?

I was starting to wonder where all the gelflings had gone. Am I the only one who was freaked out by that movie as a child?

The Dark Crystal still gives me nightmares.

"Come to the castle. PLEEEEESE. Come to the castle."

Shiver.

Sorry Sam, I celebrated my IDA yesterday when I skied my first black diamond ever. By gosh, I was awesome yesterday! I don't know if I can top that today. But I'm still feeling awesome from yesterday, so I don't see why I can't find a moment to be awesome today. Thanks Sam, for bringing out the awesomeness in me!

I'm racing some Sun "reporter" in his "tricked out" Ford Escort for pinks at 10 pm on Light Street.

Awesome.

"Another Great Conjunction coming up! Anything could happen! Whole WORLD might burn up! "

It took me a minute to get JTK's reference ... wow ... I'd almost forgotten all about the old woman muppet with one eye that kept falling out ... freaky stuff.

Y'know, I graduated from the California School of Awesomeness. Chuck Norris was three years ahead of me.

Hey, march 10 is actually Mario Day. (Mar10!)

I'm actually going to try and get IDA to extend until Thursday, so when Sam Zell gets here, I can have him sign the posters that are up all over the building of him.

This blog entry is a lie. Everyone knows Chuck Norris is approaching 8,000 years old. How could he have built the pyramids if he was only 70 years old.

Can we please just have a new holiday- The International Day of Not Saying "Awesome" Day?

Thanks, that'd be awesome.
