Evan's car

And I thought Stinger was something.

Evan sent me a photo of his car ...

In the email, he wrote:

STINGER AIN'T GOT NO STREET CRED ON MY X BOX SUCKA
pink slips at midnight, san martin drive for a drifting competition.

(the rear quarter panel had the largest logo but i couldn't get it in frame from my car. it USED to say just XBOX on the rear spoiler but i guess broseph had to get with the times finally)

Evan, there's only one way to settle this.

TO THE STREETS!

Anyone else care to join us?

Sure, I'll tear it up in my 12-year-old Toyota Avalon, complete with a ragin' NPR bumper sticker.

So, um, are there any blogs about actual things to do in Baltimore, as opposed to, like, just things about your friends and the dolls on your desk?

D - you don't count racing for pinks as something to do in Baltimore? Cause I for one, do.

@ D

Sam's desk is in Baltimore - so is his car. Looking for magnetic Homer Simpson and challenging people to street races are both things to do. I would also speculate that most of Sam's 'friends' are in Baltimore, too.

About the blogger
I've been The Baltimore Sun's nightlife and local entertainment reporter for a couple years, and it's surprising how much the scene has grown in that time. Most of Baltimore's bars and clubs are unpretentious places with fairly cheap drinks and plenty of character. I like dancing and think this city needs more clubs, but nothing beats having a cold, locally brewed beer with friends in a comfortably full corner bar.
