The next Fab Five Friday

What do you think is the coolest bar on TV?
I want to make this week's list the five best TV bars.
Hit me with suggestions.
By the way, the picture is of the Boston bar that was the inspiration for the TV show Cheers.

I've been The Baltimore Sun's nightlife and local entertainment reporter for a couple years, and it's surprising how much the scene has grown in that time. Most of Baltimore's bars and clubs are unpretentious places with fairly cheap drinks and plenty of character. I like dancing and think this city needs more clubs, but nothing beats having a cold, locally brewed beer with friends in a comfortably full corner bar.

Did anyone see the movie Dead Man's Curve? Well there's a bar in that movie that was really cool. And if anyone can figure out this reference, well then you'll know why that bar can never be on this list!

Paddy's - not so much for the bar itself but the zany antics of the owners.

Rather than repeat what others have said, I'll add one: Fitzgerald's, the bar on the BBC show "Ballykissangel," which MPT used to broadcast.

If Ned Flanders' basement doesn't win this, I am never reading this blog again!
Well played, hank.

The Regal Beagle did have it's share of nice looking women, but once they converted The Peach Pit (90210) from a diner to a diner/night club, that's where the women went!

Boar's Nest!
The hottest women work there.
