The next Fab Five Friday

What do you think is the coolest bar on TV?

I want to make this week's list the five best TV bars.

Hit me with suggestions.

By the way, the picture is of the Boston bar that was the inspiration for the TV show Cheers.

well Cheers obviously. but also...

Moe's Tavern (The Simpsons)

Lewis and Munch's bar (Homicide)

Any bar that McNulty and Bunk get hammered at on The Wire

I guess I'm failing at the main criteria but Little Havana's was in The Replacements. thats kind of "cool"

Did anyone see the movie Dead Man's Curve? Well there's a bar in that movie that was really cool. And if anyone can figure out this reference, well then you'll know why that bar can never be on this list!

The Regal Beagle (3's Company)

and what about the bar on All in the Family

Of Course Cheers

Moe's Tavern

Isaac's bar on the Love Boat?

Gonna have to go with 10- Forward.

Regal Beagle!!!

Andrew - Great list! The Waterfront was the bar across from the Homicide squad house.

The Regal Beagle - Three's Company

The Peach Pit After Dark - 90210

The Drunken Clam - Family Guy

The Warsaw - The Drew Carey Show

Paddy's Irish Pub - It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia

Phil's - Murphy Brown

I watch way too much tv.

Paddy's Pub (It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia)
Isaac's bar on the Lido Deck (Love Boat)
Boars Nest (Dukes of Hazzard)
Ned Flanders' basement bar (The Simpsons)
The Still (M*A*S*H)

There is always the Bada-Bing Club from the Sopranos...

Or the joint that Rick managed on Magnum P.I. when he wasn't working for Icepick.

Boar's Nest--Dukes of Hazzard
Boar's Nest--Dukes of Hazzard
Boar's Nest--Dukes of Hazzard
Boar's Nest--Dukes of Hazzard
Boar's Nest--Dukes of Hazzard

Then the rest in alphabetical order....
Bada Bing--Sopranos
Drunken Clam--Family Guy
Moe's Tavern--Simpsons
Regal Beagle--Three's Company

What was the name of the bar on All in the Family?

That's easy. The Regal Begal. Have you seen the women in that place??

The Drunken Clam

They have The Bearded Clam on the Family Guy.

Paddy's - not so much for the bar itself but the zany antics of the owners.

Rather than repeat what others have said, I'll add one: Fitzgerald's, the bar on the BBC show "Ballykissangel," which MPT used to broadcast.

If Ned Flanders' basement doesn't win this, I am never reading this blog again!

Well played, hank.

The Regal Beagle did have it's share of nice looking women, but once they converted The Peach Pit (90210) from a diner to a diner/night club, that's where the women went!

Boar's Nest!

The hottest women work there.

Shooter's (Melrose Place)

Paddy's Pub (It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia)

Al Bundy's favorites: The Nudie Bar and the Jiggly Room.
