iLike the iBar
Have you ever been to the iBar?
I went to the Maryland Avenue watering hole for the first time the other night.
It's a weird place, but I like it.
The crowd was a pretty good mix of people from different walks of life.
The wooden floorboards and brick walls are worn, and it's not the newest, cleanest bar by any means.
But the service was good.
And apparently, there is wireless Internet inside.

I've been The Baltimore Sun's nightlife and local entertainment reporter for a couple years, and it's surprising how much the scene has grown in that time. Most of Baltimore's bars and clubs are unpretentious places with fairly cheap drinks and plenty of character. I like dancing and think this city needs more clubs, but nothing beats having a cold, locally brewed beer with friends in a comfortably full corner bar.

I liked the place when it was called Harry's. Haven't been back there since it reopened as the iBar.

Been iBar for 3 years.....a computer to use at the bar AND and wireless. And if you haven't tried them, the wings are the absolute best anywhere in the city. Too bad City Paper no longer judges wings - they'd win for sure!

Hmmm, wings + computer = messy keyboard

Uhhhhhh - then there is the bleu cheese dip. But they have a rubber keyboard!

This is turning out worse than Stewie's iPod commercial.
