Tough call Sam. I am going to have to go with Slainte in Fells. Cozy atmosphere and good irish food to boot.

Dizzy Izzys, for the fireplace and the belly warming food. Especially the hot roast beef. It's key to making through the winter.

The Wharf Rat and it's huge fireplace in Fells Point is great. Also Three... on the corner of Patterson Park. Funky atmosphere and a fun vibe make it a great place to relax...the fantastic food helps too!

I second the Wharf Rat in Fells and also dig the bar at One World in the winter. There's something about sipping a beer on one of their couches while the heavy coffee aromas waft through.

The Wharf Rat in Fells Point has a huge walk-in fireplace in the back that's usually lit when it's cold out.

The Brewer's Art. The cozy cellar feel is perfect for winter!

great topic! woodberry kitchen might work two reasons: the bar is always packed to the point of being cozy. also, their outdoor fire pit is a considerate way to keep smokers warm.

Late brunch at Hull St. Blues in Locust Point washed down with a couple of Irish Coffees -- a great way to spend a cold winter weekend day.

A bowl of Seafood chowder and a pint of Guinness at Mama's on the Half Shell on the square in Canton will defeat any chill.

The Still in Timonium. My attitude has always been why go out when you get trashed on listerine?

Brewer's Art....that cellar....the perfect cure for winter...

I think Brewer's Art and Max's have to make the list.

Winter in Baltimore! Bertha's, sipping a Guinness and getting out the freezing 50 degree temps...brrr....
I second JTK. We were at Max's last winter and they have a great beer selection at unbeatable prices...
