Three Hot Weekend Tips

1. Show Me What You Got MC Battle at Sonar tomorrow

Dirt Platoon, Agent Orange A-Class and other MCs are going head to head for a grand prize of $1,000 and an opening spot for a national headliner. $8.

2. Shocked and Amazed at the Lo-Fi Social Club

All kinds of craziness (sword swallowing, fire breathing, etc.) is coming to the Lo-Fi tomorrow. Husband and wife team "Thrill Kill" Jill Fleet and Tyler "Fyre" (pictured) are among the performers in the event. $10.

3. MT6 Fest III at the Sidebar Tavern

This mini-festival, which starts at 2:30 p.m., has pretty sweet lineup: Mongolodian Glow, Heroin UK, Eric Crapton, Down With Gender and more.
