Two things on my wish list:
1) more wine bars
2) more middle of the road restaurants; places like the old Vespa, the old Sly Fox (I hate the new Redskins bar version), Cosmopolitan in Canton, Metropolitan in Fed Hill - a step or 2 up from bar food, neighborhood vibe, but not too fancy.
And honorable mention: no smoking in bars, but that wish comes true in a few short weeks!

AC, nice list. Sly Fox was always a Redskins pub, though.

1.) Better parking options in Federal Hill
2.) Better open air restaurant/bar options
3.) Free buffets
4.) Less pretentiousness on Charles Street
5.) Places that play classic rock, 1960s rock, etc. Lacking that, more unfettered access to juke boxes so I don't have to hear Soulja Boy.

Bars/Clubs with legitimate DJs, not just DJs who spin the top 40. Most of the DJs in the area just cater to the lowest common denominator, are amateur at best, and rarely show creativity.
I don't want to hear DJs playing the same stale crap everyone hears on the radio every day.
