Been to Stadio?
Has anybody been to Stadio, the new house club at Redwood and Calvert streets where the Redwood Trust (pictured) used to be?
I'm thinking about going there for a nightlife column. Thing is, they only have events there like once or twice a month.
I wonder how any club can make a name for itself while only throwing one or two parties a month.
I also wonder if Stadio's making any money. I never went to the Redwood Trust, but I heard they had problems filling the place.
Baltimore's not a big club city like Washington or New York. Mosaic does well because it pulls in nationally- and internationally-touring DJs. And it's not a huge space.
Stadio is a pretty big club. And club music's popularity peaked more than five years ago.
We'll see how long it lasts.

Stadio will have a Re-Grand Opening this saturday with a new group of promoters. I think Baltimore has the potential to be a club town again but Stadio isn't in an ideal location
