We had a chance to meet him in Norfolk, Va., at our late Bishop Levi Willis's church, who loved Rev. Wright. I will always love Rev. Wright. He also met my late Bishop Joe L. Smith from, Boston, Mass., and my now Pastor, Jack Johnson from Crusade for Christ Family Worship Church. May God Bless you all with peace, love, and Joy, for one day you will see The Great Rev. To the precious family of our friend and brother, Pastor, Timothy Wright, we want to say that we thank God and Jesus Christ for Pastor Wright, and the many, many sermons, songs, revivals that God blessed him to do and share with many of us over the years. It was my most thrilling honor to be with pastor Wright when he came to be with the Christian Tabernacle COGIC in Kansas City MO., for the late pastor Emanuel Newton, Sr., and there is when I had the honor of meeting him and seeing God use this Young man in a way as never seeing a man being used before in action. Our Prayers and thoughts go to and for the entire Wright family, for Jesus Christ will take great care of you as family, during this time of earthly sorrow, but in a Heavenly Joyous celebration, that Heaven has gained one of the most Anointed Men of God in the Gospel - Pastor, Eld. Timothy Wright. Rest on Pastor, for you have already entered through the door of Heaven. We'll see you on the other side of the shore!

I have never met Rev. Wright, but I have enjoyed his music over the years. I don't have to preach to the family because your father has done that over the years. You have heard him say time and time again that God will take care of you; but I do want to leave you with this: John 11:25 "I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live." Rev. Wright, we never met on this side, but we shall met on the other side. Sleep on my brother!

I want to to say to the Wright Family may God Truly Bless You and May God be With Each One Of You. I had a chance to have Rev Wright lay his healing hands on me when he was in Elizabeth City. It was truly a blessing.Thank God for such a great man!!!

I just want to say to the Wright family that we are all deeply sadden about the lost of Pastor Wright, he was truly a giant of a man. I have so many pleasant memories concerning Pastor Wright. I first saw him in person when he came to Camden NJ back in the early 70s with the late Bishop F.D. Washington out of Brooklyn, and gave us South Jerseyians a taste of New York Style organ playing and established a new standard of excellence. Pastor Wright, will be greatly missed, but the God given legacy will always be a part of us. May God bless the Wright family with comfort, love, peace, and joy; for the joy of the Lord is our strength.

I personally met rev timothy wright some years ago; he will always be remembered in my heart as a wonderful man of God. We trust that his sons will uphold his name and carry the true legacy on. His singing was such an inspiration to me and my Choir, we sang and loved his music. Song leader David Johnson in my Choir will certainly continue to sing his songs; he could have been a son to him. The family has our sincere prayers always. We loved him here in Chicago.
