To the family of Rev. Timothy Wright, we are deeply sadden about Rev. Wright. He was a wonderful man of God. We had a chance to meet him in Norfolk, Va., at our late Bishop Levi Willis's church, who loved Rev. Wright. I will always love Rev. Wright. He also met my late Bishop Joe L. I have never met Rev. Wright, but I have enjoyed his music over the years. I don't have to preach to the family because your father has done that over the years. You have heard him say time and time again that God will take care of you; but I do want to leave you with this: John 11:25 "I am the resurrection and the life. I just want to say to the Wright family that we are all deeply sadden about the lost of Pastor Wright, he was truly a giant of a man. I have so many pleasant memories concerning Pastor Wright. I first saw him in person when he came to Camden NJ back in the early 70s with the late Bishop F.D. Washington out of Brooklyn, and gave us South Jerseyians a taste of New York Style organ playing and established a new standard of excellence. I personally met rev timothy wright some years ago; he will always be remembered in my heart as a wonderful man of God. We trust that his sons will uphold his name and carry the true legacy on. His singing was such an inspiration to me and my Choir, we sang and loved his music. Song leader David Johnson in my Choir will certainly continue to sing his songs; he could have been a son to him. The family has our sincere prayers always. We loved him here in Chicago.
