Kirk Franklin doing his 'Sunday Best' for his faith

Kirk Franklin is talking his faith up. You can see him each weekend as host of BET's Sunday Best at 9 p.m.

This past Sunday, he was also a guest on BET's Lift Every Voice.

And if you haven't heard enough from him, you can read about what he has to say about gospel music and hard economic times in this week's Jet Magazine article "How 'Good News' Music Heals In Tough Times.''

Franklin is featured on the cover, but the article also includes the wisdom of gospel artists Marvin Sapp, Kurt Carr, Donald Lawrence, Crystal Akin and Kierra "Kiki" Sheard.

"Gospel is the music that replaces facts with truth,'' says Lawrence. "The facts may be foreclosure, lost jobs and a failing economy, but the truth is God will supply all needs according to His riches in glory."
