Jazz Fest makes room for gospel artists

Gospel artists VaShawn Mitchell, Aaron Neville and the Rance Allen Group highlight the New Orleans Jazz Festival this weekend.

Mitchell and Friends will take the stage tomorrow, Neville Saturday and the Rance Allen Group on Sunday.

The fest isn't just for music that helps you to chill, it has made room for music that helps you get inspired.

Last weekend, Mavis Staples, formerly of the gospel and R&B group The Staple Singers, was the highlight of a gospel show that paid tribute to the late New Orleans native and gospel queen Mahalia Jackson.
