Gospel song writer becomes gospel artist

Bishop Eric McDaniel, who has written songs for Hezekiah Walker, Youthful Praise and Ricky Dilliard & New G, is launching out on his own with plans to record his first album in April.

Jazzy gospel artist Kim Burrell will make an appearance on the new effort.
