Gospel's top artists to perform at BMI Trailblazers event

Kirk Franklin, Faith Evans, Karen Clark-Sheard, Donnie McClurkin, Kiki Sheard, Kim Burrell, DeWayne Woods, Crystal Lewis, Lalah Hathaway and Heather Headley will hightlight the 10th Annual BMI Trailblazers of Gospel luncheon later this month in Nashville.

The Jan. 16 luncheon, held the weekend of the Stellar Awards at the Grand Ole Opry, will honor the remarkable achievements of some of gospel's top artists and producers, including Twinkie Clark of the Clark Sisters, Donald Lawrence and CeCe Winans,

The Stellar Awards, which pays tribute to the achievements of African-American gospel artists, will be held the next day. The show will be telecast by Gospel Music Channel in the spring.
