Dee Dee Warwick's career started in gospel

Dionne Warwick's younger sister, Dee Dee Warwick, died this weekend in Newark, N.J., after months of failing health.

The R&B gospel artist was 63. According to an Associated Press article, the Warwicks started out their careers in the church.

The two performed in the gospel groups The Gospelaires and Drinkard Singers.
