Stellar Awards on Gospel Music Channel

The 24th Annual Stellar Awards will air on Gospel Music Channel on March 1.

GMC, the only 24-hour gospel music channel, announced its agreement with Central City Productions (CCP) and Don Jackson, CCP CEO and Stellar Awards executive producer, as part of a new multi-year licensing agreement.

The red carpet event takes place in Nashville on Jan. 17.

The agreement, according to GMC, also includes the debut of "The Best of the Stellars," a 10-episode series that will feature the most memorable moments of the Stellar Awards for the last 23 years.

"The Best of the Stellars," which will be hosted by gospel artist Vickie Winans, debuts in April.

Gospel Music Channel is carried on Comcast and DirectTV.
