Teen gospel singer lives "Outloud!"

Fifteen-year-old Spensha Baker has lived a year in which her dreams have come true.

A gospel artist with her first CD, Outloud! in stores now, Baker has had a whirlwind of a year.

She's performed at "Chrysalis 7th Annual Butterfly Ball," a major Hollywood charity event that consistently draws a "Who's Who" of film, television and music celebrities; "Grammy Jams-Tribute to Stevie Wonder" concert; and a "Salute to Gospel" performance at the White House in front of President George W. Bush, according to blacknews.com.

Baker also performed for more than 4,000 U.S. troops and their families at Fort Hoods' America Salute to the Troops, alongside other gospel luminaries such as Kirk Franklin, Donnie McClurkin and Mary Mary, the source said.

But if you want to get to know the newest gospel artist even better, read a Q&A with her in this month's Ebony Magazine. Go to page 56.
