Can gospel be sexy?

I ran across a blog post from the Palm Beach Post in which the headline says "Gospel goes sexy."

The post is about Mary Mary's latest single, "Get Up." The blogger discusses how gospel songs by this duo -- and other artists -- have successfully crossed over to the secular and have been played in clubs.

But the headline bothered me. It seems very inappropriate for a genre of music that is spiritually uplifting. What do you think?

I think a tag line about something spiritual being sexy is wrong. However if an artist music and presentation has become less traditional over the years, there music being played in nite clubs, it is their fault.People make inferences and draw conclusions off of what they see. The name of Jesus has faded out of the music of artist like Mary Mary and Kirk Franklin, in my opinion they shouldnt carry the title as gospel artist. So much worldliness has crept into the church, theres very little difference.
