South Africa has its own gospel awards, giving groups, choirs and artists a time for fame and fashion for their artistry.

This year, the Soweto Gospel Choir, which often tours the world, including in Baltimore and Washington, is up for best gospel choir.

Voting for the One Gospel Awards began this month. Go to the site to see the other nominees.
