More details about gospel homegoing for E. Ricky Fowler

Gospel artist E. Ricky Fowler of Baltimore will be remembered in a services
at First Apostolic Faith Church on Saturday.

The service, which will begin at 10 a.m. at the church on South Caroline Street, will include a 100-voice choir assembled specifically for the occasion. Those wanting to participate in this choir are invited to practice Wednesday and Friday. Call Heaven 600 AM at 410-366-7600 for details.

Fowler died Thursday, according to Rhemamedia.com, which designs Fowler's web site, www.erickyfowlerministries.com. The cause of death has not been made public.

Fowler performed with some of gospel's elite, including the late Rev. James Cleveland, the late Rev. Isaac Douglas, Shirley Caesar, The Williams Brothers, The Mighty Clouds of Joy, Dr. Bobby Jones, and John P. Kee and many more, according to his Web site.

He was ordained in 1997 by Rev. Errol Gilliard, Sr of the Greater Harvest Baptist Church in Baltimore. Until his death, he served as a National Evangelist of Transforming Word Ministries.
