CeCe Winans goes to the Mountain

Award-winning gospel artist CeCe Winans will perform 7 p.m. Saturday at Mountain Christian Church in Joppa.

Winans, who hails from a family of gospel greats, recently recently released Thy Kingdom Come, her eighth solo CD..

Tickets are $37.50 in advance and $45 at the door. Call 866-926-3921 for information.
The concert at 1824 Mountain Road is part of a weekend of Independence Day events held in Harford County.

CeCe Winans' brothers, who are known as The Winans, were honored for their legendary work in gospel at the Grammy Salute to Gospel last month. She participated in that program.
