Druid Hill farmers market starts today

rawlings A commenter shared the news just now under this post - the new Druid Hill farmers' market starts this afternoon.

Here's a link to the Friends of Druid Hill Park page with details about the weekly market, which will be held every Wednesday from 3:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Howard P. Rawlings Conservatory.

The new farmers market will be accompanied, on the first Wednesday of the month, by live jazz performances. Tonight, Baretta & Rollex perform.

Wish we could make it tonight. Such a beautiful setting for a market (we took our engagement photos in and around the conservatory last spring). Hope to hear lots of reports on how the market is, and to make it there next week!
