Your weekend dining PLUS featuring the sleeping pet of the week
So, how was Mother's Day? What did you see at the Maryland Film Festival? Who made it down/up to Mt. Vernon for the Flower Mart? What was your favorite part of the Kinetic Sculpture Race? How was the Sheep & Wool Festival?
You get the idea.
Now, Here's Lucy, the sleeping pet of the week:
"(This is) Lucy in the middle of her afternoon window-perch nap, to be distinguished from the naps she takes in other locations throughout the house.
She loves food, so I'm sure she'd appreciate being featured. Her favorite is chicken, from our plates, preferably while we are still eating it."

Great buffet at Pazo Sunday night. Good variety, perfectly cooked duck and hangar steak.
It's been a few years since I've been there; they seem to have created some more space between tables, it seemed a lot quieter than I remembered. Much more relaxed vibe.

My husband brought home dinner from the new Yama Sushi on 41st St. I really enjoyed what we ordered and am looking forward to trying more.

We went to Dogwood for the first time. I don't know what I've been waiting for, absolutely loved it! My husband and I both enjoyed the softshells special. Can't wait to go back!
Lucy appreciated her day in the Sun! :-)

Sheep and Wool was wonderful! The weather was great, the sheep were cute and the amazing variety of items for sale were, well, amazing. I had a lamb pit beef sandwich with BBQ sauce and horseradish (except for a few bites with mint jelly), a soft serve twist cone and a bag of kettle corn for home snacking. I love fair food.
