Breakfast with Fifi

fifiI received a "month-of-May" press release email from Perez over at Mr. Rain's Fun House, the restaurant at the American Visionary Art Museum

This Saturday, Mr. Rain's will  again be serving a buffet breakfast before the annual  Kinetic Sculpture Race. What a nice idea for anyone who wants to get there super early for a parking space.

The $15 buffet will be served from 8 to 10 a.m., followed by the regular Saturday brunch.

Then on Sunday, Mr. Rain's will be serving a $25 fixed-price Mother's Day brunch.

Save May 25 for the second of the season's Cocktails on the Terrace events. More on that later, or to Mr. Rain's website.

About this blog

You are reading the archives. For updated blog posts about the Maryland food scene, see Richard Gorelick's new Baltimore Diner blog.
Richard Gorelick was appointed The Baltimore Sun's restaurant critic in September 2010. Before joining the paper staff fulltime, he contributed freelance criticism and features articles about food to area and regional publications. Along the way, he dispatched for short-distance trucking companies, shilled for cultural non-profits, and assisted in cognitive neurology research – never the subject, always the control.

He takes restaurants seriously but not himself, and his favorite restaurant is the one you love, too.
