Cafe Spice now open in Cockeysville
I just heard from Girish Garg, the co-owner of Cafe Spice Indian Cuisine, which opened just this past Monday in its new Cockeysville home. The restaurant closed its original location, across from the Towson Library, back in late February. The daily buffet is up and running from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.; the restaurant stays open for dinner until 10 p.m. every day but Sunday, when it closes at 9 p.m.
The new address is 10540 York Road, and the phone number is 410-891-8740
Who's a fan?

I am a fan - tho I preferred it when I could get there in under 5 minutes.

There's actually a new Indian joint in its place there. And if you have a death wish, there's Krazi Kebob around the corner on Chesapeake.

I'm also a fan. When I lived in Towson I used to get it like once a month. I am definitely not the authority on Indian food, but it always tasted good to me! Check out a post I did like two years ago. http://strawberriesinparis.com/2009/07/31/spicy-spicy-cafe-spice/

Went on Saturday night with a group of 9 and we had a delicious dinner! Everyone loved the food. Definitely the best Indian food in Baltimore!

Has anyone tried the new Indian restaurant where Cafe Spice used to be located?

Tyler, what do you mean? I've enjoyed Krazy Kabob, with its Chipotle-like wraps on nan and its Bollywood features. If there's something scary about eating there - other than all the cops and deputies coming from the courthouse who might be inclined to give you a ticket - I'd really like to know about it. Now the crepe place on Chesapeake is another story - fried crepes. Those are kind of scary.
